Axis is a simple, elegant Koken theme inspired by the presentation of fine art photography in photo books and galleries. Includes plenty of whitespace and minimal typography to help focus a viewer's complete attention on each and every image. Axis is the perfect theme for photographers who believe less is more when it comes to presenting their work and words online.

As displayed above and on this demonstration site, templates can display content using a grid or list layout. The latter, as demonstrated here, displays large images in a scrolling list. The former displays content using a configurable mosaic grid, where you are able to control the number of grid columns (and thus image sizes), spacing between columns, and whether columns should be identical widths or randomized within limits for a more eclectic look. Some templates append grid and list layout options with single-day and slideshow views as well.

Axis is completely responsive, which means its layout automatically adapts the size of the screen viewing the site. When viewed in smartphones, Axis' primary navigation is replaced with a vertical drop-down menu that can be clicked open and closed from anywhere within the page scroll.
